Thanks for your very thoughtful comment Brad. I am trying to use other approaches than the "straight on" with the blossom, but this particular one had so much beautiful detail in the petals themselves that I had to relent. You prefer, as I, that the flower touches the edges of the frame, which to me makes a more pleasing image. Anson

Great colors and composition in this shot. I like that the flower reaches the edge on all sides of the image, but does not take away from the image of the flower.
