Why are people drawn to docks? Is it the curiosity of who has docked here or is it the question of what adventure is to come if one were to use this dock as a doorway to the sea, or is it just because the dock is such a simple man made design on such a beautiful setting, anyway you look at it great photo, I like the object in the background contrasting against the blue tones.....peaceful

Very well done, Dennis! Nice that there is just that little stick poking out of the water to give us just a little more "depth". I like how the line between water and sky is very vague. Wonderful minimalistic composition. Cheers, Gary
