About This is an example of a grain elevator, once a constant landmark on the prairies of Canada, but now they are disappearing - being replaced by large regional concrete grain terminals.

Wonderful photograph Dennis, now I understand how that red coloring goes with that deep blue to add a lot of punch to the composition. That is how this site helps. Your work is beautiful and full of color. Good luck to you and thanks for your help.

You've got sharp eyes Davide - I guess that's what's make you such a great photographer. Now that you point it out I do see a lot of noise around the building. I went back and checked the original scan (TIFF format) and the noise wasn't there - so it must of happened with the JPEG compression would be my guess. Thanks for pointing it out - any suggestions has to how I could prevent this kind of thing in the future?

beautiful fascinating old building, my friend!
on a fantastic clear blue sky
the wide angle, emphasize the greatness of the structure
i notice lot of noise all around the contour of the building and something like a lightning rod;
it's a fault of a wrong cloning or some kind of "over compression" of the jpg?
very very nice work, Dennis!
ciao
