I had a look at Brian's version. They're different but both great. Superb colours!

Marvelous bold colours and cute houses. I agree with Mark about the previous one and the depths....

Hey Mate

I think I like the other version of this pic in which the path gives the image greater depth. Still kinda edward scissorhands. Ohh maybe even kind of like the series the prisioner. Waiting for that large white thing come bounding into the frame. I liked this series makes me think of the song with the line "behind every beautiful thing there's been some kind of pain.

Cheers mate

Hi Manu,

Interesting comparison... the leading line in the previous one is quite strong, yet the strips of the buildings seem a bit too thin, IMO. The red house is much more dominant in that photo, which I consider a good thing.

In this one, the leading line is less pronounced, yet the composition is more balanced, I think.

Combining the two might be interesting; a scene that cries out to be taken with a medium format?

Both shots show an awesome image quality, and definitely a pleasant suburban view. Very nice indeed!

Cheers,

Hugo

Hi Manu. Long time no see!

Knew it was yours, spotted the style from a mile away.
Nice colours in the sky and on the house. Vibrant but at good levels.
The bit i really like about this is the two massive, leaning houses that are caving in on the minature red one.
What a coincidence. The film The Borrowers was on BBC1 earlier.

x
I like!
