Stan,

I'll take a 7, even if it cost me the knee thing... LOL... I kneed to keep my mouth shut when I'm drinking... hehehe... "The Pun" was intended! LMAO!

Thank you my great friend,

Marty

Great perspective Martin, love the shot. I think the composition is cool the way the clouds are on the left leaving an open space for the travelers. I will have to give you a 7 on this one just for what your knee did!! Be well, Stan :)

Pam,

Just like the Jesus in front of the church shot, which it's all about perspective...

Thank you my friend,

Marty you're a creative man, aren't you? Lovely idea, and the fact that it's not PS even more impressive.

Ali,

Thank you so very much, as Texas Bookman / Half Price Books is a customer of mine so I should be able to get this wonderful book @ a very reasonable price... ;)

After researching this book I have found out they are releasing a Movie on March 30th, 2007, only 2 days ago... ;)

The story of Dan Millman is a very strong witness, indeed...

Thank you so very much for sharing my friend,

Martin

PS. Although you will have to down load Quick Time you can check out the movie trailer at:

I got the title wrong, it is Way of the Peaceful Warrior by Daniel Millman

Ali,

Can't find "The Way of the Silent Warrior" on line, but perhaps you could share the authors name with me to make it easier to find?

Ali,

Most of what I shoot is untouched, but I do pop the colors from time to time... ;) Sepia and frames are done in FxFoto and, then resized in PS.

I do sharpen and de-speck using PSCS2, as well... But mostly I have to rely on getting the shot with the camera and lens only... ;)

Thank you so very much for your critiques,

Martin

I didn't look down through your comments before right now, to see that it was a sculpture, what a great piece of art. I just finished ready a book called the way of the silent warrior, which was pretty interesting. Alison

Paul,

You should check out the 1st post, as I think it had more comments than this one. I do get lucky from time to time.

Went out Saturday and I couldn't buy a good shot, let alone a great shot.

Take care my friend,

Marty

Hi Martin, I have to agree with Jean-Claude, this seems strangely familiar to me. Have you posted this one before?

Love the perspective in this one, though. Wouldn't have placed it in this category, though, "Unusual Vision" would be more appropriate, I believe...

Cheers,

Hugo

Mary,

I have told this story many times, but not to you... This was taken a the Nasher Scupture Center and I was almost kicked out by security for lying on my back in the grass to capture this one. It was well worth it, indeed...

Thank you my friend,

Marty

Pretty neat! Think it would be more realistic (not that it isn't now) but, maybe make the shadows more prolific, like a little more off to the left side of the pole, Regards, Gina

What if everybody could walk to the moon or other planets in our solar system without NASA's space shuttle or Captain Kirk's Enterprise.
It is a very nice Science fiction theme.
