When enlarged this photo really jumps out at you. The highlights and shadows really define each individual plant. Nice view looking down the rows, you feel you are actually standing there. Nice...Brian

this really is superb and the quality of those colours are good.its been a while since ive looked around your portfolio . i think definitely the lower perspective would give u a longer and greater depth. however this is colour rich quality.

I once heard a pro say "A pattern is interesting; an interrupted pattern is even more interesting." I think that is exactly what you've achieved here!

Oh that rebel tulip!!! The idea of popping up in all that yellow. Just like wearing jeans to a formal. You got some great detail here. The lighting is great assuming this is in broad daylight. You did a super job!!! Kelly

Hi Winfried! This area of Washington state...Skagit County, where the Tulip Festival is held...is one of the world's leading growers of tulip bulbs. Many of the bulbs that are sold from Holland are actually imported from Skagit County! Now, isn't that amazing??? Thanks for taking a look, and for the nice comment! Kathy

Excellent find my dear Kathy. I love the lines of tulips as they go off into the distance. Great details, colours and perspective. I agree with Dave on this....the red is the icing on a very nice cake. My very best wishes to you as always....Ray

Nice find, Yes the single red really stands out amongst all the yellow.. Lovely yellow tulip, my wifes favorite, unlucky, they don't grow here. I was wondering of another composition, maybe a lower perspective and eliminating the right most row. Just the row with the red tulip on the foreground, so you have to move a bit to the right. lower to eliminate the soil.. just thinking about the photo situation.. : ) regards...

Nice capture Kathy! When I first saw this, I thought you might have coloured the red one to create the situation. So, it is just a misfit? Actually, it feels kind of funny to say this. but the fact that that red tulip stands out like that almost makes us forget how good the rest of the image is. The detail is fantastic throughout this image. Like Dave said, even without the red one, the image stands up very well. But how could you possibly leave it out? You couldn't :) Andre
