I would crop off the top half--the bright part--and stick with the subtler tones in the lower part.

Hi Hugo, Thanks for all your feedbacks again-appreciated! I guess if I had spot-metered on the brightest part in the sky, it wouldn't have been that washed out. I'm experimenting on this setting since my return. I had a quick look at your uploads-there's lots of excellent stuff I missed. Will come back to it/you soon. Best regards, Mireille

Hmmm.... Don't really know what superlatives I can use here; think I already used quite a lot of them in the previous one, but this one is even better...:) Fantastic vista. The blown out parts in the sky are a bit of a distraction. Nothing too bad, though.
