Ahhh, that explains a lot, it's ice not sand. Never would have guessed as you've marked the location as NT

Actually, was really just after aperture, shutter, ISO etc... Not to worry though!

Cheers

Dear Rina

Actually it was very simple - I was way down south and it is the SUN at 1am in the morning (summer time) - The shot was taken off ice not sand, which was quite wet. I really did not expect it to flair like that. If you like, I can copy the slide and send it to you, because I haven't played with it at all. I am not a big fan of overdoing PS etc. It is a simple 35mm lens and I shot facing slightly away from the sun on a timer.

John, hello! I must say, I like the deep blues here. Just gorgeous. Beautiful light reflections too and wow, those starbursts are something eh? How on earth did you manage to bounce them up onto the foreground sand like that?! Cool. Would you mind including the technical data? I'd really love to know how you've achieved this... :)

Cheers
Rina.

p.s. If you say it out loud, you'll hear it: "kompozisyone" = composition... ;)

Dear Yasargun
I must apologise deeply but I have no idea of what a "kompozisyone" is. This is a one off photograph that was not digitally touched in any way.

regards John
