That's true what you say about melancholy.Carnival celebrations are,after all,a last wild fling before the privations of Lent begin...the fasting and scourgings ....all leading up to Easter and the Crucifixion which are all beautifully reenacted all over Andalucia-worth a visit whether you are religiously inclined or not.....a visual feast!

Congrats on that Tony! I see the paraphenalia of festivity here , I actually get a mood of melancholy. I think the mood's very appropriate for something of medieval mystique.
