I've been watching the skunk cabbage bloom across the road from us, and I've been thinking about getting down there and taking a picture. I guess I should!!! Nice perspective, Eb, and very good details!

Skunk Cabbage grows in the NW of USA and Canada. This is what it looks like in early spring as it first appears. The leaves become huge in summer.
