About	California Giant Redwoods, near Santa Cruz, CA. These trees were damaged in a fire that burned away a railroad trestle, leaving the trees damaged, but intact. The trees in the photo are about 1800 years old, and stand nearly 300' high. It is an incredible experience to wander through a redwood forest and see such a wonder.

great capture that remind me a very pleasant trip.

I've been in this forest in 2003 and have loved these trees.
I understand what you mean in your message.
they are majestic and solemn and they make you feel smaller and smaller in front of their immensity.
