I'm glad that you enjoy this shot Nessa. The assortment of colors "came together" just at the time I was pulling off the parkway into a lookout area. The altitude gain is 3000ft along this 5 mile stretch of two lane highway.

Thank you for your kind comments Nessa! I'm sure you would have enjoyed seeing this landscape in person. It is a very beautiful National Park. Actually the colors of Fall were just past "prime" (peak season), lovely place to visit.

I really like how you have captured the misty. damp after a storm feeling. The colour variations, the patch of light in the middle, and the way the eye is drawn from the bushes in the foreground to the distant hills and sky are wonderful.
