Yep, Larry, and may I say that I agree with you wholeheartedly. The camera has never seen what the eye sees, and good photographers from the earliest days have manipulated their images--sometimes to trick the viewer but more often to make the picture tell the truth about what they saw. Today, making those changes is a heck of a lot easier, but that's the only difference. This little shot is much closer to the real scene as I saw it than what came out of the camera. --And you thought you had the last word on philosophy for today!!! ;-)

Good job...I know there are those who say it ain't photography if it isn't straight from the camera, and while I try to do the best I can with the original shot I've always considered the photo as raw material for the end composition...enough philosophy for today
