Okay, I 'll look into it. I am still the amateur in that respect too.. I need to be more aware of my settings etc. I'll be doing a little more studying now that i have bought the digital SLR.

Ya know, you may not remember but your camera did. ;)
It is hidden in the EXIF information. Open the image in photoshop or any other app and look at the image properties. There's a ton of info besides date and time, such as white balance, zoom settings flash yes/no, shutter speeds, etc.

Isn't that horrible I am not sure which I was using. My 28-105mm canon ultra sonic lens or my 18 - 55mm lens that came with my new Canon 20D EOS. I'll have to pay more attention.
