Hi Katy,
you have some thought provocking & creative pics in your folio..well done!
I was drawn to this because of yogic nature of your pose, I like the reflection you managed to capture..althou a tad lighter would have been great, without losing your Superb highlight lighting.
Regards

Brilliant pose and composition - even more impressive to set it up as a self portrait. I think the low-key print works very well with it.

Best wishes, Jonathan

Thanks for the comment, this is a self portait, im weirdly flexible and the fashion studio floor at uni is reflective, if you light it right you get a funky reflection...i must say that on such a hard surface this really wasnt comfortable!! Lol

This is a bit darker than the original so theres quite a bit of detail lost but i still love it!

A sculpture - a painting - an act photo, all together in one! Plus a subtle, uncomfortable feeling because of the even more subtle lighting!

Great!

Small and a bit too dark, but it looks promising!

This is oustanding! Low key, alluring and the pose and the lighting challenge the eye to figure this out.

Interesting shot. I like the lighting and reflection a lot. As many other people have posted, it would be nice to see a slightly larger image, but I don’t think it is too dark. I say this because I realize that it’s your style, and the style of some of your influences.

The only “risk” for a fella like me, if I got into that position, would be getting back up!

Nice work! Keep on rocking it! -d

Again good work. It's almost abstract, because it is rather dark. It took me a moment before I understood the arrangement of body parts. Mysterious and massively sexy. The foot was a clue...

The image looks like a centered cross, floating in black. I guess it really pays to take "risks."

Risk well taken.

Intriguing and interesting. Original. Technically well executed.

Thanks, Mark

Not sure what you mean by 2C? Do you mean 2D? ... Is this a bad thing?
