About On my way from Klamath Falls to Medford there is a high pass to drive over. I saw some birch trees on the side of the road I wanted to photograph. This view was on the other side of the road. It didn't look too enteresting but took the shot any way. Nice suprise!!! I like suprises!!!

Yea, that is the lens I got from my mom. Wow, it is great. A typo with the 10-22. This darn computer needs to learn how to type better. And I learned a new word for my vocabulary from you today!!! Contre-jour. I looked it up!! Sounds so smart like. Thank you!!!

Beautiful shot my dear Kelly and I love the dappled sunlight on the slopes it looks really effective. Contre-jour shots are the most difficult of all but you have done well here. Methinks you mean the 10-22mm lens not 10-20; isn't it a great lens to use? Is this one of your new ones? All the best sweetie....Ray

Very nice shadow work, Kelly! Sometimes those shots against the sun are challenging, but worthwhile!

I think I forgot to turn off the sharpner again when I down loaded the picture. This is not a wonderful feature on this site. But, Yea I did make it. It felt weird to wear a sweater, coat gloves and hiking boots again. Too many clothes I tell you. Shorts and T-Shrts are my style.

Thank you Mike for the nice comment on my photo. I know just what you mean. Many of my best photographs were not what I saw at all. Isn't photography fun!!! Gotta love it.

Nice work! There have been many times I looked at something thinking that it really wasn't much there to photograph, but had taken the shot anyway. And behold if some of those don't turn out better than what I could have imagined. Its amazing what a camera can see that you can not.
Nice job capturing this contrasty back-lit scene, these types of shots are a little difficult to shoot. Good job!!!

Many compliments..............Mike
