The grain works very well in this one, as does the harsh contrast--the are in opposition to the softness of the subject and her expression. Fascinating portrait.

Hi, Dear Friends. I thank you all for the comments.
I have many diferent photos, with dif. films, exposures, etc. I am always trying to do something different but it is not easy. Matching everything is complicated... Thanks and Thanks , you all.

Please forgive me and maybe disregard this comment. Or not. I don't like the grain, or 'texture'. I find it just a little to much. I also think her forehead and left side (Viewer right) is too hot. Perhaps if it wasn't so textured the over exposed would work with this one. Just my humble opion. Shyfox

Interesting composition, the mood her expression and the grain work well together. Maybe you can make her forehead a bit darker though,... it kind of jumps out right now and becomes a bit of a distraction.

Beautiful subject and beautiful shot. I like the grainy look to the photograph -- it really adds to the mood. I wouldn't mind seeing all of her head, but I don't have much room to say anything about that (considering my baby photo chops off her little head and chin :-) but also centers in on her eyes, which is why). The intense expression on your models face is very intriquing.
