Though I prefer the white background of the other image, I am not bothered by this background of a near white and cloudy sky. The colors of the flower really come through much better in this mage (except the purple tones which go almost to black).

Giuseppe, when I tried to click on the attachment it did not work, it remained as a thumbnail. NOW, when I got your second message and clicked on the attachment it DID open and I COULD SEE the shot!Yes, this one is less aggressive, but I would have liked it if you lit up the front of the flower so that I could see all the colours. As I said in my first message, I know that this flower has beautiful rich colours in a very fitting combination. I hope you agree with my opinion.

Dear Giuseppe, thank you for taking the trouble to show me a different angle of shooting this flower, though I can hardly see it. I know the flower well and I like the colours, rich and daring.Nowadays Japanese have or have not manners, like all the people around the world. Their traditions of kindness and politefulness are little by little disappearing. Anyway, I am not Japanese, I only live in Japan. And I love this country's nature and culture. Were I to live in Italy, I'd be totally taken by Italian culture.Which is by far much closer to my own roots.

Ciao Gabriela. Yes, I have a capture less threatening: I'll show you in the attachement. It's true that Japanises have very kind manners and, anyway, this flower is called Bird of Paradise: turned toward the sky not toward the men!

Giuseppe, this flower is very ornamental and at the same time very aggressive. I prefer this version from among the two you presented, but I'm sure you might find a different angle to make it appear less like a weapon.

Susie, the name of this plant is Strelitzia reginae (and a queen it is really) known in all the world as bird of paradise. I will post next the same image in an almost high-key version.
