We have a lovely orchid that is in bloom now. I have taken some pictures, but none turned out as lovely as this. You have captured the soft flow of the petals and the wonderful colours very well. Superb picture.

I have taken some shots of orchids as well, but none that are nearly as successful as this. You've captured very good color and detail, and I really like the dark background as well.

What a beautiful flower! Nice colours and textures. Orchids are so special... It doesn't look quite as sharp as your other recent macro shot. Was the lighting very dim? (so that you had to use a wide aperture and/or slow shutter speed?) Thank you for your comments on my photos, Galal. They are a great encouragement.
