nessa, those are small shelters typicaly equipped with wood-burning stowe only but some may have sleeping accomodation. It has holes in floor to drill hole in ice and drop your bait into. Huts are designed basicaly to chase away the cold during hours spended on open lake in harsh winter weather.

Hi Andrzej,
I wonder how many people here realize what is inside these huts? Maybe Russians, Canadians, USA Northern states and Scandanavians only? Do they have ice fishing in Europe?
