Nice shot and composition. Reminds me of my old Siberian. She'd look at me that way just before she'd run off into the woods...

Great shot of Taku, Peter! I like the toning you've used as well, it lends a certain atmosphere to the shot.

Dear Annemette, I would love to reply to you directly.. I have much to tell you about the breed, which I'm sure will help you on your decision. I know when you see Kiana, you will want one for sure,, but there is much to be said before you decide. If you send me your e-mail address to ( nawneedis@aol.com ),I could also send a few photos directly to you.. Best wishes to you, Peter

dear Peter
A beautiful dog, indeed! I have to disturb you due to the fact that you know the breed so well:-)I´ve often considered getting such a wonderful dog, but how are they around small children and is it possible having such a dog without exercising it a lot? Feel free to answer - no obligation. I´m just so fascinated by this type of dog:-)My mother managed having seven adult newfoundland at a time plus puppies:-) When one loves a certain breed, one just seem to get more and more of them!
Best wishes,
Annemette
