Paul,

Thanks for your feed back...it was from a rocket/mortar attack. We do have faster lens, but I try to travel as light as I can. On another note, I'm sorry for note writing back sooner. I have been in the process of moving from one base to another base.

Best Wishes,
Chuck

Interesting description of a PX. (wall mart) the last time I was at a wall mart I couldn’t find anything manufactured in America except for the ammo. Sorry, it’s just an issue I have with wall mart and globalization. But I’m feeling safe here in my small American apartment knowing that my government is taking care of business over sea’s before the war is brought here. I guess I just want to thank you and your troops for being there for us. It means a lot to me and my family. We’re safe and your not and that worries me every night, but I like this picture. Was this on program auto? I think dragging the shutter brought out he flames and brought the emotional and photographic aspect to this shot. It’s well done! It’s well done!

wow.. why did the px catch fire, from an attack? actually, the slow shutter works great here..love the ghostly look. What ISO did you use? maybe you should have the army buy you some faster lenses :) (although they are heavier to carry around)

An amazing shot, Chuck, it looks like he's right in amongst the flame. The exposure turned out very well, too.
Dave.

Mark,

Thank-you for feed back. I had to use a slower shutter speed - I didn't have a flash with me at the time.

Bewt Wishes,
Chuck
