My son is beside me right now and is asking about this picture, he is asking why the boat is not on water and i explained that it is frozen. Good interesting capture here with wonderful color... best regards...

at first glance, i thought this was the rideau canal in ottawa. it looks strikingly similar, except for that barge.
lovely winter shot. i'm surprised noone is skating on that waterway.
