About I had one oppertunity to get this shot as I watched the two approach each other. I was panning at high speed following one of the two as I saw them coming togeather, when the second bird got in frame I started shooting and did miss the target leaving a slighty blurry image, I did what I could to bring it back but this was the best I could do. I thought I would post it as this scene does not come along very often....

Absolutely amazing . . . now, I have to check all these shots out when I have some time . . . they're far too good to rush! This isn't a handheld 400mm is it?

Here Is my secret! Shhhhhhh... I point my camera at the birds when I feel they are close enough I press the shutter button LOL..
I do have the originals of every shot posted, If you wish to see them and read the exif data email me at support@armaniphotography.com ...

question; how did you shoot your picture of the birds; ore did you first filmed it with a camera with slomotion, and take the best-shot out of it. I saw a program on bbc prime, about filming animals in action, looks the same as your pictures explaine plaese how you did it Kind regards Riny

Beautiful capture of the birds and also because this is such a rare sight indeed. Sometimes a little blur is fine as it denotes speed or action. I think it is a perfect shot! Pat

Wow! What a fabulous shot, Marcus. It really doesn't matter here if the image is slightly blurred (and it is only very slightly, I had to look really closely to see it!). The angle was just right to capture the look of annoyance on the face of the bird on the right - or that's how I imagine him to be looking, anyway. ;)

Brilliant. I love this pic! :)
