Mary,the scene was recorded beside Tsangu Lake,Sikkim.The locals had a tame yak on which you could sit and have your photograph taken for a fee.It was a great hit with the tourists ,specially the honeymooners like the couple seen here.About the magenta cast ,I am not sure.It is there in the original bmp scan.The sky and the mountain were casting colourful reflections on that day(Check--'Tsangu Lake'-my portfolio).Either that or some scanning or PS ing error.

I opened this image based on the title...what a funny phrase! The photograph seems to have a magenta cast to it...unless that is the actual color of the ground. Can you please tell more about the scene? Is this a ceremony, or is it a tourist attraction? I like that you captured the man in the lower left who is photographing the scene from a lower angle.
