Hi Michael, I like very much that low ground approach, the spiky plant gives a lot of texture different from the stone texture, which is what I liked in your Santa Elena Canyon V. Also the green adds a good contrast to the orangy rock and the little purple flowers a nice accent. I can see why you used such an intense sky, I tried a low-key sky version on my computer and it loses its impact. Very strong composition! Ina
