About	The sun was over my shoulder on this day providing relatively harsh lighting over the scene. I was really concentrating on the shadows and midtones rather than the highlights. I thought it would provide better contrast than metering for the snow's highlights. I did use a polarizing filter to deepen the blue of the sky.

Thanks for the comment Gary, The sun was over my shoulder on this day providing relatively harsh lighting over the scene. I was really concentrating on the shadows and midtones rather than the highlights. I thought it would provide better contrast than metering for the snow's highlights. I did use a polarizing filter to deepen the blue of the sky. Sorry for not putting more details in comment box.

Hello Alex,

Overall nice scene. Snow can be difficult. I am bothered by the snow color going so blank white on so much of the scene. Not sure how to correct. Maybe a polarizing filter would have toned it down. Keep working on it....
