Hi Hugo, these uploaded shot are experiment about the use of leica m2 i've never use a RF camera till now. I think it's a great experience!!! This one: full aperture f4, 1/15 sec no tripod with avaible light. I centered the subject (my father :) ), couse on the left there are disturb elements, than incident light mesurement with gossen luna pro, i wanna see the absence of blurry with a RF camera :).
I think that the experiment was good... really surprised by results, details and lights with the leica lens are great.

Hi Efision, good, intimate portrait, showing the calmth, wisdom and admirable character of this man. I like the sided light, repeated in the dark parts. Maybe the dark parts lack a little detail,, but that's only a very minor detail. Well balanced composition, allowing for a bit of space on the left side to prevent a static, centered image. Very good photo... Ambiguously, you could've stepped back a bit, to show a bit more of the man's collar, but that's only me, I guess.

Me le sono guardate tutte!!! Certo che quel nome sotto la miniatura fa un grande effetto... ma non solo questo, sono come me le aspettavo nella resa globale, forse un pochettino più soft del previsto, ma sicuro dipende dalla scansione, in stampa è un'altra cosa. Ah, bel ritratto, a me lo sfondo non disturba più di tanto.

What an expressive face. A nice capture of his, what I see as, love of life. Must be fun to shoot with him but I would love to see him in a non-distracting background.
