Nice job, Darlene, it's an interesting process. I like the variations in lighting you've got here, too.

The colours in your landscape are beautiful Darlene and the details and textures in this scene look great. Well done to you sweetie. Best wishes to everyone and your turn for a big hug...Ray

Hi Darlene, I picked up the nodal ninja pano head. Simplicity at it's finest :-) It has to be assembled b4 each use, not a big deal; attachs to your current head, and has leveling gauge. Works well with the Pentax ist D, don't know if it will handle a full frame canon. Also has detents every 15^ horizonal and vertical. The detents help with alignment. I'm still testing stitching software, so all images are water marked, can't post any till I make a choice. I'll let you know my discoverys as I make them.
This is cool stuff!

Wow! Nine frames, incredible! I don't have a pano head, a friend let me use his for this shot and yes, I am hooked! Got to get one of those! Can't wait to see more of yours....and thanks so much for the info. I'll keep you posted! Darlene

Hi Darlene, I did a quick 3 shot waiting for the sun to set down in Natchez, got me hooked :-) Got a small Pano head and practicing now. Longest stitch to date is 9 frames with the camera vertical. covered almost 180^. The potential I see is stitching several rows together. Pure digital with the size of 120mm film. Make some fine prints :-)

I had 4 frames and the final size was huge, not sure what it was because I resized it before really checking. I do not know much about this process but I do want to learn it, wish me luck!! Take care my friend and thanks! Darlene
