Yes that's what it is all about. I would rather have constructive comments than none at all.As a member of a camera club Iam used to having my work assessed and even sometimes verbally abused.Life is too short to get upset.
Take care

Very beautiful capture Danny, both this and the other post today. Well done, I'm getting interested in shooting water so this is very intriguing to me!

This looks like a sheer curtain hung over the falls! You certainly have this technique down, Danny! Very nice!

Danny -- I've found the same to be true with my images. Not all are interpreted the same way across the board. That's the beauty of art, isn't it? It's interpretation is a personal thing. But, that's why I'm here: to broaden my perspective and learn from accomplished shooters. I like your work w/water. Your experience shines through! I hope you don't mind the occasional comment. I find that by critically assessing the work of others, and engaging them in dialogue, that I am better able to refine my own vision/style.

Yes you could be right Michael but when I do something like you suggest someone else comments that they woul like to see more of the pool.Fortunately it is not a life or death situation. Thank you for your comments which are much appreciated.

Jeanette my obsession with waterfalls is due to the fact that this one is literally 2 minutes from my house. On a dull day when the water is right I go there.

Danny -- I like the vertical orientation of this image. I think it suites the subject very well. The wall of water looks like a stage curtain. I think I would have shifted the composition upward, slightly, to show a little less of the foreground pool and a little more of the water fall, which I've interpreted to be the focal point of this composition. Nice job.
