A really nice photograph, Larry. The trees would have been enough, but that bench on what appears to be the edge of a very cold weed patch gives added pathos to the subject. Very nicely done! Steve

I got my green card out of a corn flakes packet Larry. For shame for shame me not knowing all those people. Not being a spectator sports fan I guess I'd best go back to the brain reprogramming dept. I sure hope one of your crituqes does make the front page cause they are really entertaining and I feel very honoured when you visit ...not to mention you're good therapy and always put a smile on my face.
Cheers - Ann :)

Forgot the chainsaw again...now that you brought it up does look like the tree is sitting in the bench, maybe a basketball player analogy would have been better. Since I am a Packer fan, I would be most pleased to see Mike Holmgrem win another Super Bowl. After a month of rain you deserve it.

You may get your green card taken away not knowing who the best football players are in the US. Not those soccer guys, but those padded, overpaid, overhyped men of the gridiron (more American slang meant to confuse Aussies, but then you have a few of your own... shrimp on the barbie, I thought Ken was getting two timed by Barbie the first time I heard that. Does this make any sense, do you think this will be the critque of the day... nah me either. Heidi ho again.

I'm afraid those people aren't on my Christmas card list Larry so I don't know them (excuse my ignorance) but benched or not I like this image. The snow is gorgeous and a most refreshing change from all this rain we're getting. A lovely sight. I'd rather have all that snow than all this rain and mush. Love the contrasts.
Thanks for your comment on my Glowing Tree image. You know....Gayle Harding said something quite similar about Dr Seuss and those Pom Pom trees I posted last night too. Great minds thinking alike I guess.
Thanks for dropping by my images.
Cheers - Ann :)

I like the abstractness of the picture. Good perspective as well.
