Being a preschool teacher I have taken a ton of photos of children. None of which have come out as impressive (and as filled with character) as this.

Apart from the fact that this is a great composition and the whole photo simply works and is great to look at, you should be commended for being able to catch this photo as children are difficult subjects. To produce such quality candid looking shots like these requires patience and skill (which I don't have). The lighting is very beautiful too, and falls on her face perfectly as she looks up. This should be in a gallery somewhere, or a magazine for sure!

Another nice composition, although not quite as strong as your first post. The look is interesting here and makes this another winning image. Love the hair across the eye.
