Am with you,about the left crop and I do have another capture where the dominant poppy start at the initial of the left side frame, I was not convinced at the last moment to crop,`cos I liked it as getting lighter and lighter going towards the right of the image, as tonal range effect. I knew some one will point that out :)

Hi Saeed, this is very subtle and beautiful. My initial reaction was to crop off a bit on the left hand side, but I realise that is too hasty. The shadows play a very important role in this photo, I believe, to add to the softness and the subtlety. Still, my eyes are drawn towards the right hand side of the photo. It has a pastel quality that is rarely seen in photos, which is one of the elements that make it tick. The photo is about more than the poppy alone, it includes the entire scene. Pretty amaizing shot!

just open a masterpiece like this one and concern of every detail, and observe every fine tuning..

Wow. I love this! It's a true testament to the beauty you can get from 'real' film. This would look beautiful, 6 feet wide on a wall. The look, and the color balance is perfect. It has the look and feel of a watercolor painting. Very nice capture, and wonderful exposure!
