Hi Ian,you got it again :) It is indeed a quite simple ,but cosy wooden house in the alpine area,and the shot was just as simple..not planned nor arranged...simply so :)Only 1 point...the house has electric light !

Ursula hi, nice thing for me about this macro is that the room is part of the comp. Hard to do but so often absent from macro compositions. Very relaxed scene, reminds me of a place I'd stay for holidays for some reason, probably the sense of simplicity of the room beyond and lack of electric lights. May the new year bring joy! :)

The way shot against the light make it appears with almost transparent leave with lovely details.

Oh, all is fine, just a bit rough right now. Besides repairs that keep popping up here and there, the kids are all now sick. Just thought if you were giving out luck that I would take some ;)
