Hi Ron - I'd like to take more!!
Wildlife photography is one of these niches like sports photography where you really the right (ie: expensive) equipment to do it correctly. I would love to have a 600mm f/4 or a 300mm f/2.8, and really put up some incredible animal shots from this place.
The ones of the whitetail deer were really lucky. I was walking back from the shore early one mrning, and was on the lookout for birds, when I noticed 4 whitetails munching on some leaves. I was lucky and already had my 70-300mm set-up and got about 35-40 shoots of these guys. A 300mm f/2.8, while harder to use in the field, would have really helped me there.
Thanks for the comments Ron,
Chris
