About Taken at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Mobile. Roman basilica design (by architect Claude Beroujon), built on Spanish burial grounds in the heart of Mobile's Old Town in the mid 1800s. The classic portico (where this picture was taken) was added after the War Between the States.
