Yep it certainly does bring back Summer to me. I love the bright colours, the spot on dof and the colourful blurry out of focus background and of course the two (bonus) bees!. Roll on Summer :-)

Well there are aw whole lot of things about the shot I like !! #1 would be the relaxed, summery feel maybe .. I'm glad you mentioned it

anyway .. #2 is the great Dof of the shot .. the shallow DOF adds lots and lots .. #3 the nice details of the bees #4 the beautiful color contrasts #5 the nice angle #6 the position of the two bees .. and lots more

Overall a fantastic competitor for your earlier BEE shot ..

I think you have already described this photo in your 'about', this shot has a real soothing feel to it - which may possibly be due to my lack of sleep. You have composed this shot very well Nadia, I especially like the blue flowers in the background as it shows that the bees have more work once they have finished - the added element of having two bees really adds to the working atmosphere, nicely captured!
