Nice exposure, composition, and color tones. Leaves me with a feeling of the long lost and forgotten. Excellent shot.

hi, first off i would like to say that your border treatment works fine and that the other suggestions are waaaaaay too distracting...i find if border treatment is a distraction,go with basic black and more often than not, thinner line borders work best unless going for very artistic...love the canvas texture, the toning and the subject matter...you achieved a nostalgic look very well,Tim...i also like the dry brush look of the grasses and bushes
regards,gayle

I like the screen shot, Tim; it adds a texture of age.

Letters make words. Some words make a poem. Some poems leave a lovely fragrance. Some leave a tint on your mind.

This was just a quick example, Tim - I'll cover framing and borders in PS on my website - watch for the new lectures.... especialy new CS2 techniques

Thanks, Graham! I do like it better with the tight border, definitely a stronger presentation, though I find that the light border now catches my eye first. Do you have a protocol you follow for framing? I'd love to learn the rules.

This is very creative and nostalgic Tim. Your tonal range treatment and narrower frame gives this image a feel that is very appealing.

Well done my Friend - Bill

Thanks so much David, Pat, Jeanette and Graham. Is this better, Graham?

Great feel and composition. How about making the thin border line a lighter tone and reducing the width of the black frame? I'm sure it will improve the image considerably and minimize the "suffocation" factor.
