Hi Sounak,it is been a time since we last talked at Uf, very beautiful composition, lighting, and a descent although controversial subject at media stations.I could explain the wetness in the left eye of the model,as you can see the wetness is at the upper surface of the lower eyelid that comes in contact with the upper eyelid when one closes his or her eyes,,and since this and the inner surfaces of the eyelids are always washed by the eye glands(tears)it is always moistened, and thus reflects the light exactly like a mirror,my very best, Saad.
Aziz, thanks a lot for your detailed analysis. I really feel this is one of my finest works. I'm sure you'll agrre with me. The reason behind that is not only the shot but the editing & the subject as well. The subject is totally new to me. I love eyes with hijaab.
You're absolutely right again when we said about the black colour. If you notice, this is not a real hijaab. She was wearing a white burqa & hid her face with that.
In terms of the wetness, I feel it's the reflection of the light. This is the first time I used studio light. I think it's a mind-blowing tool.
Hi Sounak. I like the subject, and the white color used for hijaab ! In my country and arabic ones and I think in India, most of women use black color for hijaab ! About the portrait, the semi-transparency of the cloth makes good feeling as well. Wettness of the right side eye ( left eye of the subject ) and its difference with the other one makes question ! Best regards Aziz
