Thanks John.. it was designed by Jože Plečnika the famous Slovenian architect.. it is the university library

yeah I know I should have paid more attention.. this building was designed by some world famous slovenian architect... whose name I had put in my palm pilot to do a google search on.. and now do you think I can find it.. wait I did a quick google just then.. this is the guy.. Jože Plečnika who designed this building the Ljubliana Uni Library in the 1930's this building inmme pitcha yeah nice rock I checked the Chicago link... interesting stuff.. dunno why they are so touchy about the moonrock but

Tribune Towers in Chicago has stones stuffed in the sides from around the world. Really a fascinating thing to see. Bits of building material from Greece and Rome and London and Tokyo... and 3 dozen other places. This looks very much like the Trib. Towers... without the historical connection.
