I shot this last weekend on the South Platte in Cheeseman canyon. I'm not sure who the fisherman was, I shot this from the trail about 30ft up the side of the canyon. If you look close there are some dark spots just in front of his line. Those are some of the large trout that inhabit this famous stream. A few casts later he caught a brown trout that would go easily over 20 inches long.
I really like this shot Chad. It has an inherent dynamic appeal and a very cool POV. I'm not quite sure I agree with Michael about the light perimeter blurring . . . and I wonder if you considered a closer cop . . . cutting the small boulders and the fuzzy tree on the RHS . . . that would leave the main boulder from corner to fisherman drawing in the eye of the viewer and the fisherman's pole heading out to yet another corner . . . I've attached an example for you to consider but as to this shot . . . I really thinks it's top quality and quite unique . . . refreshing even. Nice work.
