About	It's the indian festival of lights aty the mo, Deepavali, so to celebrate, bradford have covered their town hall in fantastic lights. there's about 6 projectors putting the colour on the walls, then a few floodlights shining on the clock tower. Amazing how it's transformed the grimmest of grim cities, with a very grim towen hall, into some thing so spectacular for a week. On till Friday if you want to get a few shots

your best bet is to zoom into the brightest bit of the nightscene, then take a meter reading - if you use Av/Tv or M exposure modes you can do this - and dial in an exposure of about +1 - +1 2/3. Lock the exposure there

Then zoom out and take your shot at that exposure.

If it's a bit dark, then up the exposure a stop - keep doing that till you get what you want.

WOnderful capture. You have captured the colours very well, and the exposure is right o the money, something that I have trouble with while attempting this type of photograph. It is nice that the town puts on this show. Thanks for sharing.
