Lukasz, I am not from the Isle of Wight, but have been there a few times. There is a dear family connection there. My mother's childhood pen pal lives there, and they wrote for nearly 60 years until my mom passed away. If you are anywhere near Newport while you are there, would you be good enough to take a picture of Carisbrooke Castle for me? I would love to see it again!

Mary, I will stay on the coast but for sure I will visit Newport as well. So if I visit the Carisbrooke Castle I will take some pictures of this place specially for you :-)

When will you be there? I live on another British isle (Guernsey), but I have family in the Isle of Wight and I was thinking of visiting in August.

Hi Ciprian,
thanks for your replay; It would be great pleasure to meet you on Isle of Wight. I think we could take some photographic session in the early morning (sunrise) or evening (sunset) when the light is appropriate for landscape photography. I am sure we would have great fun!
I will stay in London firs for couple of days and than I will pick up my mother (she lives in London) and wife and we will visit Isle of Wight for a week. We will probably stay in Ventnor (unfortunately I will not have a car on the Isle). I want to leave London on 7th or 8th August and will stay in Isle of Wight till 15th August. I live on the IOW but its bad enough with all the groccles we get anyway, Kimmeridge and Durdle door are much better places for photography, can you go there instead please?
