Pix 1: The blue distracts a bit becoz of its well contoured profile, it would have beenbetter if the blue fades away and covers most of the background.
Pix 2: The glare in the upper part of the leaf could have been subdued a bit with photoshoppe; the contrast is too much. Why don't you try some soft filters?
Overall: Excellent aesthetic sense, but the composition requires some indepth thinking.
