Q. donor status

Hello,

I've renewed my donor status with Usefilm on October 1st via my credit card and was charged. So, I am surprised to receive this email:

Hello, this is just a reminder to let you know that your Usefilm.com donor status will expire in approximately 4 weeks on 12/7/2008 4:11:56 PM.To avoid loss of donor privileges please consider renewing your donor status for another year.

I realized that I've renewed early but I didn't realize that my contribution did not count toward my donor status.

Please explain.
