Q. Help!!!!

Hey there fellow UFers! I am trying to help out some new members (Bonnie & Earl Phillips) in the saving and sizing of their post images.
I have asked what type of software they have, as I am only familiar with PhotoShop, and Bonnie tells me she believes it is called JASC.
Is there anyone out there who knows about this software and is able to tell me (or them) about a function like 'save for web' that PS has?
Their images are scanned from prints and are appearing at quite a poor quality here, which may discourage them from receiving comments and in turn discourage them from posting. They seem quite keen to learn handy tips to improve their photography and I feel that this info will benefit them greatly. Any and all help appreciated,
