  Q. Gates Guppy Video Housing

Asked by sean slavin    (K=3488) on 12/22/2002
I have a Gates [1] video housing for sale. It will fit Sony TR and TRV handycams. Included is a Pelican 1600 case with foam inserts and dual 35w NiteRider lights with battery and charger. The housing is made of aluminum and has a flat plexi port on the front. The rear of the housing is clear. It's only been in the water about 12 times on a trip to Fiji about 2 yrs ago and hasn't been in the water since then. This is an excellent housing if you're interested in getting into underwater video. Gates products are the best in the business.

I'm selling for 2 reasons: 1) I just don't use it and even if I was, I don't have anyway of editing the video. 2) I need to buy some other camera gear that takes precedence over whatever I thought I was going to do with video.

Price is $1650. Feel free to email me if you're interested. sms@slavin.org
