Seems the price is already so low that Ritz Camera's actually have a waiting list :-) Anyway, in Europe it costs twice the U.S. price.

Its current price, if you can find it, is around US$1,500. Its predecessor, the Eos D60 was worth around US$2,000 and it was eternally in back order. The D60 only reduced its price once the 10D appeared and it is still a more expensive camera. I would not expect a significant price drop until a replacement is announced. However, I understand Sigma and Nikon will each be releasing US$1,000 digital SLRs this year, to compete with the 10D, but this may turn out to be just another rumor. Good luck!

I've read so many great things about the 10D that I really do think it's worth at least the $1,500 that they're asking... I guess now it's just a matter of scrounging up the money. =)

It hard to say when the price will be drop down ! Some website estimate the D60 will be at lowest price stop on $1000.00 in the end of this year . The Canon 10D might be split the price if they (Canon) introduce another SLR digital camera with new tech or some thing to "improve" for 10D . In case the new camera comes out , our head lead us to try to get another baby ! Don't know do we still keep in mind the 10D or not !? Get the used camera go with waranty . It might help saving a few . www.keh.com are selling used and new camera . it great website. don't you think so guy ? Good luck
