  Q. Low light photography

Asked by Todd Norris    (K=0) on 4/5/2002
I have an Olympus C-2100 UZ and am taking pictures of High School Soccer Games. These games are all at night under stadium lights. I have set my ISO to 400, f stop to 2.8 and shutter speed to about 1/100. What else can I do to get brighter pictures. The ones I am taking are acceptable but I am just short of having enought light to feel good about the light and the sharpness. Some other conventional photographers with the paper are able to get lighter pictures with the same light. What can I do different.

I am attaching a sample of a typical shot.

If you have Photoshop its amazing how it can lighten up dark photos.
