  Q. Ways to make a 2x2 meter print?
Hugo de Wolf
Asked by Hugo de Wolf    (K=185110) on 6/27/2006
Hi everyone,

Just curious, I need to make a 2 x 2 meter (approx 7 x 7 ft) print of a photo soon, and I'm investigating the options. If possible, I don't want to use multiple prints glued together on a piece of board. Doing a bit of research, I found that there are multiple options.

I wonder if anyone of you has experience with this sized print?
(Dis-)advantages of photographic paper?
(Dis-)advantages of prints on canvas?
What to take into account when colour matching for prints on canvas?
Which pigments / inks to look for?
Where to outsource this?
Any experiences with online shops for large prints?

Any other thoughts / experiences? They're appreciated!

Thanks,

Hugo
